Getting Started

How does ListReports work?

Step 1: Submit any address in the United States from your ListReports Dashboard.

Step 2: If it's an active listing, you'll receive a follow-up notification providing you with a 25+ piece marketing kit featuring the information and photographs from the property's MLS listing within one hour. If the property is NOT an active listing, you will still have access to the property's neighborhood Infographics.

Step 3: If at any time you wish to make edits to any of your ListReports marketing material, simply hit the “EDIT REPORT” button from any Report's detail page on your Dashboard. Here you will find a series of options in which to instantly make changes or additions to your existing ListReports.

What are the reports we get?

With each new request, ListReports will provide you with 4 beautiful infographics describing the most attractive features of your listing’s neighborhood. These infographics describe the area, outdoors, schools and food in the area.

In addition, you’ll also receive a Pre-Listing Presentation with SAMPLE photos and a 7-Page Neighborhood Report.

If your property is an Active Listing, the ListReports crew will go to work and custom-build additional marketing materials inclusive of your home's MLS photos. This includes an Open House Flyer, Just Sold Flyer, Just Listed Flyer, two Promotional Flyers and a detailed Property Report.

Additionally, you’ll have the option to activate additional PREMIUM materials for each listing. These premium materials include a single Property Website, a Text-To-Lead Short Code, (3) Text-To-Lead Go Green Flyers, (3) Sign Riders and three different sizes of Postcards (6x4, 8.5x5.5 and 11x6)!

To unlock these Premium materials, you simply need to define your partnered Lender. With every report, you’ll have the option to choose an existing Lender from our system or you can refer your own.

How do I request marketing materials (a new ListReport)?

Free Account

  • Once you've logged in to your ListReport account, simply click the red “New ListReport” button on the top-right corner of your Dashboard
  • Next, enter the address of the property you're looking to generate marketing material for.
  • At this point, we have everything we need to create your ListReport. You can hit SUBMIT, or fill in additional customization options such as a Photo Selector Tool, the ability to set the date & time of your open house, and over 40 gorgeous color palettes to choose from.
    • Remember: these customizations are OPTIONAL. We only need the listing address to create your ListReport.
  • Once you hit SUBMIT, you'll receive a beautiful 25-piece marketing kit in under one hour.

Pro & Elite Account

  • Once you've logged in to your ListReport account, simply click the red “New ListReport” button on the top-right corner of your Dashboard.
  • First, enter the address of the property you're looking to generate marketing material for.
  • Next, type the name of the Agent you want to co-market with and select them from the list.
    • Don't see your agent? No problem! Just click the “Add” button at the bottom to create a new profile for them!
  • At this point, we have everything we need to create your ListReport. You can hit SUBMIT, or fill in additional customization options such as a Photo Selector Tool, the ability to set the date & time of your open house, and over 40 gorgeous color palettes to choose from.
    • Remember: these customizations are OPTIONAL. We only need the listing address and the agent to create your ListReport.
  • Lastly, you have the option to co-brand yourself with the Agent on your ListReports marketing material or remove yourself completely to only feature the agent's information. The choice is entirely up to you.
  • Once you hit SUBMIT, you'll receive a beautiful 25-piece marketing kit in under one hour.

Can I customize colors?

Yes, absolutely! When making a new ListReport request, you'll have the option to choose from 40 different color themes in which to apply to your marketing material. These include some that are brokerage-specific and several different palettes including Blues, Greens, Reds, Browns and Purples. You can even check a box to set a theme as your default for ALL your future ListReports requests.

Can I select the photos that are going to be on my flyers?

Once you input your listing address, we'll immediately try to dig up the property photos for you. If we find 'em, you can choose the ones you want to use on your Flyers, or even upload your own prior to submitting your ListReport request.

How long should it take to get the custom reports for my Active Listing?

Once we have received your initial request, it should take approximately 90 seconds to process. This will NOT be custom-materials with actual photos of your property.

How do you guys make money?

In addition to the FREE product we provide for Real Estate agents, ListReports also has product that we have developed for the Mortgage industry. Thousands of Loan Officers use the ListReports Elite Dashboard every day for a monthly fee. This product enhances the way that these LO’s can engage and interact with the Real Estate community.

If you have a partnered Lender you would like to feature on your ListReports marketing materials, you have the option to select them or invite them to the ListReports Elite product at Signup or from any ListReport view page.

 

Using ListReports

What if I want to change the reports after they have been processed?

No problem! If at any time you wish us to make edits to any of the custom reports submitted to you, simply use the EDIT REPORT option on your report, or visit the “CONTACT US” page on your Dashboard. Here you will find a series of options in which to instantly make changes or additions to your current reports.

What if my listing's price is lowered or requires a price range?

If you navigate to the EDIT REPORT or “CONTACT US” option on your Dashboard, you’ll be able to change the Price to whatever you’d like. Once you select the listing you wish to edit, you’ll have the option to convert the Price into a Price Range.

Can I add the date & time of my open house to the Open House Flyer?

Yes. When submitting a new ListReport request, you’ll be presented with the option to add the Date/Time of your upcoming open house OR add some custom banner text to the header of the flyer. PLEASE NOTE: This text will only be added to the Open House Flyer & Open House Postcard.

Can I include two agents on my ListReports materials?

Kind of. If you work in a team, you’re more than welcome to create an account with your Team Name and your joint email/phone. As for your individual account, we can only include a singular photo, one email address, one phone number, one website and one License #.

If you want your contact information to show up on your marketing materials, but you won’t be the one managing the account, you can add an Alias email address in your User Profile. This way, if you have an assistant making ListReports requests on your behalf, they will still receive the email notifications.

To do this, just open your User Profile. Click the word “Alias” on the Email Address field. Once you do, you can click the “+” icon and type in an alternate email address. This means that any emails Aliases you input will receive all of the Dashboard activity notifications.

How do I share my reports with friends, clients or colleagues?

Sharing your ListReports marketing materials is extremely simple! We encourage you to utilize any of the following Share methods as often as you'd like, all of which can be found on the Report Details page for any listing requested through your ListReports Dashboard.

Option 1: Facebook
Tapping this button will open up a dialog allowing you to curate a Facebook post that will be displayed on your Facebook wall for all of your friends and contacts to see. The post will include a thumbnail image of the home along with some descriptive details about the property.

If a consumer clicks your Facebook post, they will be taken to a simple landing page where they can see your material in better detail, as well as download the file.

Option 2: Twitter
Tapping this button will open up a dialog allowing you to curate a Tweet that will be displayed on your Twitter for all of your friends and contacts to see. The post will include a thumbnail image of the home along with some descriptive details about the property.

If a consumer clicks the link in your Tweet, they will be taken to a simple landing page where they can see your material in better detail, as well as download the file.

Option 3: Send to Yourself
Tapping this button will immediately send your chosen materials directly to the email address we have on file for you. One click is all it takes!

Option 4: Send to Someone Else
Tapping this button will open your default email client, and the link to view the chosen materials you wish to share will be pre-populated in the body.

Option 5: Copy Link
Tapping this button will present the URL for the specific material you wish to share. All you have to do is copy the link to your clipboard, and you're free to share it with whomever you like.

How do I save my infographics to upload on my MLS listing's photo gallery?

ListReports infographics make a PERFECT addition to any MLS listing photo gallery. All you have to do is access your infographics through our website, right-click on each individual graphic and select “Save Image As.” Once saved to your desktop, they are yours to do with as you please! It’s your responsibility to make sure that your MLS allows the upload of infographics (rules vary from MLS to MLS).

How do I print out my reports?

ListReports look great on paper! All you have to do is download any of your materials to your desktop using the options on the Report Details page for any of your listings. From here, you can print to your heart’s content!

How do I get reusable Sign Riders?

If you're using Elite or are paired up with a Lender using Elite, you can choose and assign your own Custom Short Code from your User Profile on the ListReports Dashboard. Once you've chosen a code, just head over to the ListReports Shop and place your order for your new Reusable Sign Rider.

How do I add my own Lending partner to my reports?

On the Report Details page for each of your listings, you’ll notice a large box displaying one of two scenarios:

  • A red box with an unlock icon providing the option to “Select a Lender.”
  • Your current Lender’s headshot along with the option to swap this person out for someone else.


When adding a favorite Lender, you’ll have two options:

Search our active database for your Lending Partner:

If your Lender is already a participating user of the ListReports system, they will appear in your search and you can add them to your account or current report.


Refer your own Lender:*
If you don’t find your Lender in our system, you have the option to INVITE them. This simply requires you to submit their name and company. Our sales team will immediately contact your Lender and encourage them to sign up for a paid ListReports account. Once they sign up, all future materials requested through our system will feature this Lender. If at any time you wish to change your Lender, you can do so on a report-by-report basis.
 

As soon as you select your Lender, you’ll have the option to add them to your account so ALL future reports will feature them, or you can add them to only your current report.

Once you’ve confirmed your participating Lender, the system will automatically send your current report back into processing. This will take a few moments and when you receive notification of completion, you’ll have access to all of your Premium Materials.


*Only one Lender per account at a time.

Does my paired Lender receive the leads generated through my materials?

Yes. The paired Lender on your account will be privy to all leads generated through your marketing materials. This includes leads obtained through your Property Website or text-to-lead materials. 

Can I change my participating ListReports Lender?

The process is very easy for agents to change their participating ListReports Lender. An agent just needs to email us from their account's email address letting us know who they want to change their participating Lender to, we will make the change, and the change will be reflected on all future materials.

 

Data

Why are there fewer than 3 schools? My district has more than that.

As a rule, ListReports will only include ASSIGNED schools by default. If you find that we’ve missed a school or require a change, please let us know by using the 'Contact Us' link in the menu and we can add additional schools to the Infographic by request.

The data or information on my reports are incorrect.

Sometimes the ListReports Robot that we send around from city to city gets confused; he’s still learning. He’s a hard worker, so we don’t give him a hard time. However, we want to make sure your information is as accurate as HUMANLY possible - so if you see an error, send us a message via our Contact Form in the ListReports app menu.

What if I need to ask a question about a specific listing or request new photos for my ListReports?

Easy as pie. Just click 'Contact Us' in your navigation menu. You’ll have the option to ask a general question and even specify which listing you are inquiring about.

What do I do for unique situations such as getting materials prior to going into the MLS, FSBO, etc.?

If you're using Elite or are paired up with a lender using Elite. We just need the following requirements in this format, along with a minimum of 4 photos.

  • Bed
  • Bath
  • SqFt
  • Lot Size
  • Garage info
  • Year built
  • Price
  • Minimum of 4 photos (Required)
  • Text Description (650 Character Max)

If you have not yet requested the address you can head over to your dashboard and make the request, In the special instructions add that you are sending over the home details and photos to support@listreports.com

Since this falls outside of our normal production process, this is considered a special request and we can not guarantee a turnaround time but we will do our best to get this back to you as soon as we can.

My house is unlisted...can I still get reports?

Most definitely! If the address you submit is an Unlisted property, we’ll still send you the general neighborhood ListReports for that property in approximately 90 seconds. *Please keep in mind that custom materials with photos will NOT be delivered for Unlisted homes.

I don’t have any photos of my house…can I still get a custom report?

Unfortunately, no. If your house is not an Active Listing with MLS photos available on the internet, we cannot provide you custom marketing materials. However, we will still send you all of the general neighborhood reports if you submit an Unlisted address.

 

Troubleshooting

How do I remove an old or unwanted report from my Dashboard?

While you can’t completely delete a report from your Dashboard, you CAN archive it. This means it will be removed from your Dashboard, but it will still exist elsewhere for safekeeping. All you have do is click the arrow icon on the right side of your VIEW button for any report on your Dashboard. You’ll be presented with the option to “Archive the report.” You can always unarchive a report whenever you’d like.

What does the red exclamation mark icon next to my Dashboard listing mean?

If you see a red exclamation mark icon to the right of any of your reports on your Dashboard, this means there is an issue with this particular listing. If you click the icon, you’ll be presented with more information as to the nature of the issue. These issues can include: “This Property is Unlisted” or “We don’t have enough photos to complete your report,” etc. Under most circumstances we’ll need to receive more information or photo assets from you prior to completing your report.

My reports are taking longer than usual to get back. Is something wrong?

Maybe, maybe not. We scrub the vastness of the internet for the very best data available. If your request was made during peak business hours, it’s possible your Reports are waiting patiently in line behind another enthusiastic real estate agent who’s eagerly awaiting his ListReports! If you feel your wait time has been inexplicably long, and you haven’t received any automated updates from our team - please contact us via the Contact Form in the ListReports app menu.

Please keep in mind - Our Production Hours are from 9AM5PM PST Monday through Friday, so if your request is made during these hours, you can expect to receive your completed Active Listing reports that same business day. As ListReports is a FREE service, we cannot guarantee an exact turnaround time—this relies entirely on the volume of requests in our queue that day.

If you submit your listing request outside of our regular Production Hours, you can expect your ListReports request to be processed the next business day in the order it was received.

My phone seems to freeze after I submit my registration info?

You might be seeing a spinning icon after you've filled out your registration info. If so, you're most likely using Private Browsing on your phone. Turn off Private Browsing and try again. Or if you prefer simply Sign Up using a regular browser OR visit www.ListReports.com on your laptop computer.

I changed my profile information but it's not being reflected on my ListReports.

You can easily edit a ListReport with new profile data in just a few quick steps. Go to your dashboard and find the ListReports you want to edit.

  1. Click the arrow next to the blue "View" icon.
  2. Click "Edit this Listing."
  3. Select "I need to update my report with new Profile Data.
